One suspect arrested, another still on the run after a deadly shooting at a Dalllas motel

A man was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting at a Dallas motel early Friday according to reports.

Authorities identified the suspect as the 25-year-old Deanthony Andrew Frank. He was at the crime scene with another person who is still at large. Officers discoverd the victim James Howard Jennings, 32, lying in a pool of blood in a second-floor hallway suffering from several gunshots, while responding to the motel call about 6:30 a.m. at the Royal Inn in northwest Dallas. Invistigators didn't determine the cause of the shooting or how the altercation between Jennings and the suspects began.

The victim died after being transferred to a nearly hospital in a critical condition.
