Brothers suspected of shooting 2-year-old girl dead charged

The two suspect brothers who perpetrated the deadly road rage shooting of a 2-year-old girl last year were arrested, police said.

Tylan McCray, 21, who fired the shots was charged with murder. His brother Brandon McCray, 19, was charged as an accessory to the crime.

Police announced that Laylah Washington was shot in the head while she was riding in the back seat of her mother's car on June 13, 2017, when shots were fired.

The victim's mother Leslie Washington who was waiting for her sons to leave work claimed that a black Impala nearly crashed her in a parking lot, she then yelled at the driver "Don't hit my car!", but the Impala's owner followed her and shots were fired.

The brother were charged with first-degree murder and possession of marijuana.
