The killer of a New Jersey cab driver was sentenced to 58 years in prison for the 2015 murder of the 57-year-old father of ten.

The courtroom was filled with sobs as the judge sentenced the dry-eyed, emotionless Nathaniel Young in the death of Imad Alasmar of Edison.

Young was convicted of shooting the taxi-driver as he was on his way to pick up a called-in fare. Young stopped him and demanded money at gunpoint, he shot the driver twice in the head when he refused to hand the cash. The cab then raced uncontrollably and crashed into Stacey Lopez's car causing her serious injuries including her leg's amputation.

Young would be 74 years old before he is even eligible for parole.
