A Georgia teacher was caught on video stealing a 9-year-old student's violin to pay for a $700 ticket.

Kalif Jones, of Stone Mountain, is seen stealing the instrument from the cafeteria, walking throughout the Brockett Elementary School with the violin case in hand then leaving with it.

The 21-year-old teacher was arrested after he allegedly admitted he stole the violin after he received a $700 ticket and needed money to pay for it.

The investigation began in Late November after the 9-year-old student returned home without his instrument.

The Dekalb County teacher was charged with a count of misdemeanor theft on November, 29 according to jail records. And it's unclear if he has a lawyer.
