A drunk Utah man was charged with multiple crimes after he tried to kill his roommate and the roommate's son on Dec.9 according to court documents.
Randal Weed Dickinson, 57-year-old, arrived home drunk and even fell into a Christmas tree before being helped back to bed by the roommate and his son.
When the pair went outside, they heard a gun going off and saw Dickinson opening fire at them paying back their kindness toward him.
He reportedly fire 16 shots before they could pin him and wait for police to arrive.
Dickinson was charged with two counts of attempted murder, one count of possession of a firearm by a restricted person, and other charges in connection with the incident.
