Redskins' player continues recovering, deals with 'devastating complications'

Reports announced that The Redskins quarterback, Alex Smith is out of hospital as his recovery continues.

The player, 34 year-old, suffered a broken tibia and fibula against the Texans and Week 11. He is reportedly dealing with a "devastating complication" from leg surgery.

According to NFL Network, Alex Smith was dealing with an infection, and that is hardly certainty he can return to playing.The player and his family asked for privacy at this moment.

Smith signed a four-year, $94 million in the offseason.

The Redskins states that: "on behalf of Alex Smith, we appreciate all of the concerns and prayers over the injury he incurred on Nov.18 against the Texans, Alex and his family remains strong. We would ask that everyone honor the Smith family's request for privacy at this time."
