NYC car dealership employee stabbed to death by co-worker

A 22-year-old Bronx car dealership employee was fatally stabbed by his co-worker Monday during a physical altercation, according to officials.

Reports said that Brandon Almonte was stabbed several times by Jose Almodovar, 53-year-old, amid a dispute. Almodovar was taken into custody and charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the incident. Almonte who has suffered serious wounds in his neck was transported to a nearby medical facility where he was declared dead shortly afterward.

The motive of the fight that has taken place at the Riverdale car dealership in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx was not revealed as of Tuesday and the investigation continues.
