A pair of 13-year-old boys await arraignment on homicide charges in the deaths of two firefighters who were murdered fighting an arson fire that started in local California town's library.

As the residents of Porterville, are grieving over the loss of Capt. Raymond Figueroa and firefighter Patrick Jones, and outraged over the prosecution of the juveniles in adult court.

“Even if we are not big fans of the law, we still have to follow it,” said Porterville Police Chief Eric Kroutil in a statement.
