Man who admitted to killing five people sentenced to life behind bars

A 35-year-old inmate who was indicted for murdering five persons inside their home in California central valley in 2015 will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

According to reports, Martin Martinez who admitted killing five people got five life sentences for the July 18, 2015, gruesome attacks. He was previously sentenced to 11 years in prison in connection to the beating death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son, Christopher Ripley, who lost his life from blunt force trauma to his head.

Among the victims was Martinez’s 57-year-old mother, Ana Brown-Romero, whose body was found in the laundry room. He has also suffocated to death Elizabeth Ripley, 6; Esmeralda Navarro, 5, and Rachael Martinez, 6-month-old. Finally, he fatally stabbed the children’s mom, Amanda Crews, prosecutors said.
