New York authorities are looking for an armed man after a deli worker was fatally shot yesterday, according to officials.

The speechless suspect entered the B&A Gourmet Deli located in 217 Brook Ave. in Mott Haven at about 6:40 p.m. and approached the victim, 34-year-old. Suddenly, he grabbed a handgun and opened fire at him several times, reports said.

The employee was transported to Lincoln Hospital and declared dead that same day. His identity has not been released.

The shooter is a 5”5 man who was seen wearing a fur-trimmed jacket that has a reflective design.

“The deli’s workers are nice people. They’ve been good to everybody in the neighborhood,” a resident said.
