Naples news, Florida news.

Florida authorities are investigating after the discovery of two dolphins that were fatally wounded along the state’s Gulf coast.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife conservation commission and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are offering $20,000 as a reward to anyone who comes with relevant information in connection with the active investigation that was launched after the bodies of two dolphins were discovered with bullet and stab wounds in the waters off Naples and Pensacola Beach.

Investigators believe that the animals were attacked after being attracted to food and urged people to not feed dolphins to prevent them from linking humans and boats with food and expose themselves to dangerous situations.
