South Carolina teen admits the shooting deaths of his father and an Elementary School student

5years ago

A South Carolina teen had pleaded guilty on Wednesday to the charges of murder in connection with the killing of his father, and a six-year-old student on Sep. 28, 2016.

Jesse Osborne was 14 when he committed the murders. He confessed following his arrest to shooting his father, while he sat in a chair, three times in the head. He then drove his father's truck to Townville Elementary School and opened fire on a group of students playing outside during recess. Jacob Hall, 6, was hit in the leg and died three days later.

Osborne told investigators he was angry at his father because he would get drunk and fight him and his mother and that he was bullied.

He could face a sentence between 30 years and life in prison.
