Suspect charged with marijuana possession lit pot joint before judge

A Tennessee man is facing new charges after he lit a pot joint in front of the judge presiding his court hearing on Monday.

Spencer Alan Boston, 20-year-old, was standing in court before General Sessions Judge Haywood Barry on drug possession drugs when he pulled out a cigarette and began smoking.

According to news outlets reports, Boston first addressed the judge and discussed the marijuana legalization before putting the pot joint in his mouth and lit it with a match.

As the smell of marijuana filled the courtroom, the attendants burst into laughter. Boston was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, simple possession of a schedule VI drug and contempt. He will serve ten additional days in jail for his actions.
