North Las Vegas police have arrested the parents of a 3-month-old baby boy who has been found dead in a dumpster nearly a week ago.
Authorities identified 52-year-old Raul Ramos and 32-year-old Adriana Hernandez as the main suspects in the baby’s death. They were tracked down in the 2200 block of North Las Vegas Boulevard on Friday.
Ramos and Hernandez are facing three counts of child abuse and one count of destroying/ concealing evidence.
People living next to where the baby boy has been found expressed their sadness for what has occurred: “I can’t imagine what these people did to this little child,” said Magda Rozzo, a neighbor. “That’s why I feel like, really really sad.”
The baby was found in a dumpster on 2500 block Carroll Street on Sunday, Jan. 19.
