Reward upgraded in search for toddler, 3, abducted by dad after killing estranged girlfriend

New Mexico authorities and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are still searching for a 27-year-old man who has killed his estranged girlfriend on Jan. 7 and abducted their 3-year-old son who is believed to be in danger.

A reward of $10,000 is offered for any tip or information that could help to locate Jorge Ernesto Rico-Ruvira and his son, Osiel Ernesto-Rico who were last seen getting in a maroon four-door 2003 GMC Yukon with a New Mexico license plate reading MNF321.

The Mexico Native man is accused of murdering the mother of his son, Isela Mauricio-Sanchez, earlier in January.

Rico-Ruvira is 5 feet 8 and weighs 150 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with relevant tips or information that could help to find Osiel and his father is urged to contact the FBI field office.
