Three lifeless bodies found in Illinois residence; Police investigate as homicide

Danville authorities are conducting a homicide investigation after the lifeless bodies of three men were found Thursday in a central residence in Illinois.

Officers arrived at the home after receiving several calls reporting subjects down inside it. Once there, they found the deceased men whose ages range between 60 and 67-year-old. They were identified by Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden as 65-year-old Nathaniel Gentry, Anthony D. Jones, 60, and Cordell Reed Sr., 67. Autopsies of the victims are expected to be performed on Jan. 24.

At a press conference, police Cmdr. Josh Webb said: “This investigation is in the early stages and is being treated as a homicide investigation.”
