Birmingham news, Alabama news.

Alabama authorities are searching for a teenage girl who went missing early Tuesday morning while she was heading to school and police said she got into a mysterious dark SUV.

13-year-old Amberly Nicole Flores was last seen alive at about 7 a.m. in the area of Green Park South Mobile Homes getting “willingly” into a dark-colored Mercedes SUV. She was carrying a pink backpack and wearing a white jacket and blue jeans, according to the Pelham Police Department.

The car was caught by video footage of the area but the detectives do not exactly know who was behind the wheel.

In a statement, police urged anyone with information to call (205) 620-6550: “We encourage the public to say something if they see something. Every tip matters.”
