A Norman wife has been busted after authorities linked her to the murder of a 76-year-old man who was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
Faye Morris Richard, 74-year-old, is facing first-degree murder charges after the January 6 incident when she shot her husband, Kenneth Richard, inside a car in the downtown area of Sheridan and Walker at around 10 a.m.
The husband was hospitalized in critical condition after sustaining serious bullet wounds. He succumbed to his injuries days later.
A police record stated that evidence linked Faye Morris to the fatal shooting and she was apprehended on suspicion of shooting with intent to kill.
Richard's charges have been upgraded to first-degree murder. She is being held in the Oklahoma County Jail.
