19-year-old waitress stabbed to death by coworker before mom's eyes

Tennessee cops have arrested an 18-year-old man who had fatally stabbed his coworker as she was about to leave her workplace at a Pigeon Forge restaurant.

Gabriel Enrique Turcios was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault after the Wednesday brutal killing of Savannah Burford, 19, at the Sunliner Diner were both of them worked.

The victim's mother, Julia Cutter, said that she witnesses the entire tragedy as she waited outside in her car to pick her up from work.

"I didn't know what he was doing, and then she fell," Cutter said. "When I got there, she couldn't even scream. You could tell she was trying to say something to me, but the blood was gurgling out of her mouth. Blood was floating all the way down the whole sidewalk."

The motive of the attack remains unclear.
