The homicide of a pregnant high school cheerleader a fellow football player was charged with the murder.

A 16-year-old northern Indiana boy has been arrested in the killing of a 17-year-old pregnant schoolmate whose body was found in a restaurant dumpster.

17-year-old Breana Rouhselang was last seen alive at her home at around midnight Saturday. Her family called police about 4:30 a.m. Sunday after they "got the feeling that something wasn't right." hours later her body was discovered in a restaurant dumpster nearby.

Aaron Trejo,16, a high school football player was arrested Sunday and primally charged with the murder.

Nicole Rouhselang, the girl's stepmother said that her stepdaughter who is softball coach, a cheerleader and football team manager at the school was six months pregnant.

She added: "I've known her since she was 6," she said. "I just don't understand it."

Trejo and Rouhselang knew each other from the football team, police are still investigating the kind of relationship they have shared.

the victim's cause of death would be determined by an autopsy test, motives for the crime haven't been released yet.

Trejo is currently being held on a preliminary murder charge, He will be tried as an adult.
