London news, England news.

The 18-year-old who threw a 6-year-old boy from the 10th-floor balcony of a London art gallery last summer had pleaded guilty to the incident and claimed he did so to appear on the news.

Jonty Bravery pleaded guilty to the attempted murder charge he was facing after he threw a French boy from the viewing platform of the Tate Modern Gallery in August. The victim sustained serious wounds after he landed on a fifth-floor roof.

Upon his arrest, Bravery claimed that the attack was a way to raise awareness of his autism and to prove to people who did not believe he was mentally ill that in fact, he was hearing voices ordering him to hurt others.

The boy has since returned to France but remains at a hospital and still hasn't recovered mobility in all limbs.
