3 teens in custody after leading Mesquite police officers on chase.

Three teenagers are in police custody after Mesquite police chase that shut down I-30 on Monday morning.

Officials say teens were driving a stolen vehicle.

The suspects crashed into a power line pole on Interstate 30 near St. Francis Avenue.

All I-30 highways and westbound service lanes were closed for a brief period while crews were working to clear the roads of power lines that had broken down. All tracks have since been reopened.

A 17-year-old man and a 15-year-old man were both taken into custody, the police said.

A 16-year-old girl was rushed to hospital for her injuries, but she should be in good health. The three teenagers were taken into custody, the police said.
