Drunk driver struck family vehicle; kills a sheriff's bailiff, and wounds the others

A drunk driver has been arrested in Florida after she crashed her car into a family's vehicle, killing a sheriff's bailiff, and woundind her husband and two children.

Kim Johnston, 46, was intoxicated while driving on Interstate 95 in St. Johns County when she crashed into Jacksonville sheriff's bailiff, Cathy Adams, 43, her husband, police officer William Adams, 50, and their two children, ages 14 and 16. Cathy Adams sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead in the hospital. William Adams was in critical condition as of Sunday night, and the children suffered minor injuries.

Johnston faces charges of driving under the influence with serious bodily injury to another person. She could face upgraded charges after the victim's death.
