A traffic argument ended the life of an off-duty firefighter when he pulled off the road to fix the problem with another driver only to be killed Sunday .

The 33-year-old Faizal Coto was on his road on the Belt Parkway near Bay 8th Street in Bath Beach, driving his blue 2008 Ford Mustang , according to authorities.

He was caught on surveillance video pulling over to the right side of the road as another car, a silver four-door Infiniti sedan, does the same.

The two vehicles seemed to have damage but cops couldn't confirm if it was new or old. A witness said he saw the two drivers fighting and then one of them lying on the road. Police and medics found Coto lying outside of his car with severe head trauma. Authorities are now searching for the other car, registred to a reputed gang member.
