Lisa Snyder, 36, a mother of two from Pennsylvania found hanged in their basement, was arrested Monday at her home in Albany Township.
The children - Conner Snyder, age 8, and Brinley Snyder, age 4 - were not reacting and were hanging on the same dog leash, reported Reading Eagle.
The cord was wrapped around the main beam of the basement and two chairs were knocked over nearby, according to reports.
They were taken to Leigh Valley Hospital, where they were resuscitated and died three days later, reported Reading Eagle.
The coroner said the two autopsies were inconclusive and more forensic tests were needed to determine the cause of death.
