Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the kidnapping and murder of 13-year-old Hania Noelia Aguilar who disappeared last month from a North Carolina mobile home park.
According to FBI, Michael Ray McLellan,34, faces first degree murder and other charges. He is being held without bond in the Robeson country detention center. He is set to appear incourt on Monday, Dec.10.
On Nov.5,Aguilarwent to start a relative SUV when a man forced her into the vehicle and fled. Police found her body weeks later in water about 10 miles away from her home, her kidnapping sparkled an intensive investigation, with scores of searchers on foot, nearly 500 interviews and forensic exam on the stolen SUV. The exams helped result in the charges against McLellan.
