A man accused of pushing a random passerby in front of an oncoming truck has been charged, according to prosecutors.

Garrett Boldt, was arrested after a series of similar attacks in Los Angeles during this week, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said on Friday.

The unprovoked push on Wednesday was recorded on a surveillance video. It shows the suspect sitting on a bunch by the sidewalk. As the passerby, a man in a suit, approaches the suspect jumps off the bench and throws him into the street just in front of a coming truck.

The truck slams on brakes to avoid running over the victim who is still caught under the front wheel. He then picks what prosecutors claim to be the victim dropped bracelet off the street then walks away.

Boldt was charged with attempted murder.
