Video of teacher forcibly cutting student's hair leads to her arrest

A California high school teacher was arrested after a video showing her forcibly cutting off a student's hair while singing the national anthem surfaced this week.

Margaret Gieszinger, 52, a teacher at University Preparatory High School is recorded on the footage holding a pair of scissors and urges a student to sit down. She then shears off a chunk of his hair and tosses it behind her while singing out "The Star-Spangled Banner."

She then walk to the back of the classroom and grabs a hold of a girl's tresses while raising the scissors in the air, the girl manages to escape with the rest of the class running out of the horror room.

Students claim Gieszinger declared that day, a "haircut" day noting that she had another breakdown earlier in the week.
