Murder suspect's mother and brother accused of conspiring to kill witnesses to his crime

The mother and brother of a murder's suspect have been arrested after they allegedly plotted to kill three witnesses to his crimes.

Police alleged the two family members took part in the murder-for-hire plot, directed by the prisoner, Joshua Federico, 44, accused of the slayings of his wife, Sarah, and a friend of her. He was already charged in August, of the two slayings and will now face three other counts of conspiracy to commit capital murder.

His mother, 63, was charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit capital murder and two counts of felony obstruction of justice. Joseph Federico, 41, the brother, was charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit capital murder, solicitation to commit capital murder and two counts of felony obstuction of justice.
