A woman was killed when she fell from a moving vehicle and was hit by another vehicle after surviving the fall.
Houston police said a woman was angry at her husband as she was returning from downtown Houston around noon. Authorities say she started getting out of the car at full speed and fell on the North Freeway.
The woman, whose identity has yet to be revealed, survived the fall of her vehicle but was then hit by a passing vehicle and was killed.
The police said that the woman had been drinking but her husband, the driver, had not done so. Nearly 610 northbound lanes were closed for several hours when police investigated.
