Flagler County sheriff's deputies recovered 15 kilos of drenched cocaine packets on Friday night.

The deputies were called and informed about the soggy drug found around 19 hours. on the beach along Surfview Drive in the Hammock area of Palm Coast.

The sports bag contained 15 individually wrapped packages that tested positive for cocaine. The bag also contained a large amount of sand and shells indicating its presence in the ocean for some time, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies carried body cameras that recorded them searching the gym bag and dropping cocaine packages.

The appellant who stated that the drugs in question wanted to remain anonymous.
