Dallas news, Texas news.

The owner of three pit bulls that attacked an elderly woman while she walked in a Dallas park has been arrested.

The incident occurred Friday morning at around 11:20 a.m. when the 76-year-old victim was walking in Beckley Heights Park and was attacked and mauled by the three dogs causing her severe injuries.

The woman was saved by two men who tried to pry the relentless dogs off the victim using a pick-up truck: "That's what probably busted the dog's head," Michael Jensen, the man who drove the truck said. "And I ran him over twice, and it didn't do nothing twice."

When police arrived, the dogs were found at a Starkey Street home's yard. Authorities contacted the resident who said that she owned the dogs.

Martha Yescas-Lira was charged with attack by dog causing serious bodily injury.
