4 people shot, 2 of them fatally, while sitting in cars in Philadelphia

According to police, four people were shot while sitting in cars within two hours in two separate incidents in Philadelphia.

The first shooting occurred at around 12:45 a.m. when a man and a woman were sitting in a car on the 4900 block of Wayne Avenue in the Germantown section of the city. Despite his severe wounds, the man had reportedly managed to drive a short distance and struck three cars on the way. He later died from multiple gunshot wounds while the female passenger was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she remains in stable condition.

The second shooting unfolded at around 2:30 a.m. as the two victims were sitting in their car at a red light at Clarfield Street and Hunting Park Avenue. The passenger, 27, died while the driver remains in critical condition.
