A Pennsylvania woman who went missing since Sept. 15 is believed to have been murdered in a Nevada desert by her boyfriend who has been arrested in connection to her death.
Authorities announced that they have found a body on Oct. 5 in Lincoln County, Nevada that had "many of the unique physical characteristics" of 33-year-old Jamie Rae Feden. The official identification is pending.
39-year-old Matthew Chapman has allegedly promised Feden a trip to Las Vegas but instead, suffocated her and left the body in the desert.
Chapman has also impersonated the victim on social media to hide her death and misled police during the investigation.
He was charged with kidnapping, obstructing administration of law and criminal use of a communication facility.
