A Florida man who was arrested Sunday night for driving told the cops that he was racing home after ‘cheating on his wife,’ police say

John Earl Pickard, 52, was flying above 90 mph in a 55-mph zone on the 19th anniversary of the United States Union, the affidavit said.

Pickard told police at the Tarpon Springs Police Department: "His behavior was reckless and dangerous because he had to go home after he cheated on his wife."

During his arrest, a police officer found crack in a "plastic sandwich bag in the pocket of his shirt," says the affidavit.

Pickard told the agent that he had "bought" the $ 50 crack, according to the affidavit.

Pickard was hired in Pinellas County Jail for unlawful conduct and possession of drugs.
