Man gets life for double-homicide amid armed robbery

A 35-year-old St. Louis inmate indicted for murdering a man and a woman On July 20, 2016, in St. Louis County's Castle area will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

In October, Brandon Harris has entered a guilty plea to two counts of second-degree murder, robbery, three counts of armed criminal action and unlawful gun possession in a deal with prosecutors.

He fatally shot Dana Robinson, 35, and Antonio Harris, 37, amid robbery. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene while Antonio Harris lost his life two years later from his severe gunshot wounds.

The suspect is also involved in the deadly shooting of Travis Jones, 32, and Patrick Wilhite, 37.
