Authorities in Denton County, Texas have announced that they have a suspect in the case of a young mom who was found stabbed to death near a creek.
Jade Harris, 20, was found dead on the banks of Denton Creek west of Ponder on Sunday, hours after she was reported missing.
Harris has not been seen since October 25. She has recently moved to her friend's home in Alvarado after separating from her husband. She had two children, a 1-year-old son, and a 2-year-old daughter.
"It can only be a boyfriend, a close friend," the victim's mother Sorena Herrington said. "It's somebody she knows. Period. That's all I know, and that's where I'm keeping my mind or trying to."
Harris' children are under the custody of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
