A homicide investigation is ongoing after a man's body was found on the Angeles Crest Highway in the Pasadena area in the early morning of Wednesday, police said.
At around 1 a.m., a motorist called 911 after he discovered the unidentified victim's body. Once there, Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies have launched a massive search in the area along with the assistance of Pasadena police, Pasadena police Lt. Pete Hettema stated.
The victim who appears to be in his 20s suffered at least one bullet wound but it was not confirmed if that was the cause of his death.
The person's identity and the motive of the shooting were not provided by authorities. Anyone with more information that could help to solve the case is urged to contact 911.
