Alaska police find third body of woman in the same area: Murders linked

Wasilla news, Alaska news.

Alaska State authorities are investigating after they found the body of a missing woman whose murder is linked to a double-homicide that unfolded over the last weekend.

The body of Alyssa Jimenez, 28, of Big Lake, was found on Tuesday off of Knik Knack Mud Shack Road in Wasilla in the same area where two other bodies were found over the weekend.

Now authorities believe Jimenez's death is linked to the murders of 25-year-old Michael Attwood and 37-year-old Donna Marie Campos with whom she was last seen on Saturday: "She was reportedly with the two deceased individuals earlier in the day prior to their deaths," police said. But it remains unclear how the victims knew each other.

Autopsies are pending by the State Medical Examiner's Office.
