A 45-year-old Las Vegas suspect accused of murdering a model who was found in a "concrete and wooden structure" in October has entered a not guilty plea, reports said.
Christopher Prestipino and his friend, Casandra Garrett, 39, are facing several charges including murder, kidnapping, and conspiracy in connection to the killing of 24-year-old Esmeralda Gonzalez who was poisoned and strangled to death in May before authorities discovered her corpse last month near the Interstate 15 community of Glendale.
The suspect's girlfriend, Lisa Mort, was also arrested following Gonzalez's death and is expected to appear in court in December.
According to court documents, Prestipino was previously arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a dangerous weapon.
