George HW Bush funeral: the awkward atmosphere between the presidents.

5years ago

President Donald Trump has joined the group of a list politicians in the National Cathedral for the memorial service of George HW Bush, the atmosphere was rather awkward and cold between Trump and the former presidents.

At the state funeral of the 41st president of the United States in Washington on Wednesday, President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and former President Barack Obama sat in the first row.

there was not any remarkable warmth between the presidents, and it appears like they were all drugged there out of their will.

Trump shook hands awkwardly with his predecessor, Barack Obama, and former first lady Michelle Obama as he took his place in the front row of the service at the Washington National Cathedral, while he decided not to share any handshakes with his former opponent, Hillary Clinton who was sitting on the other side of the Obamas.

George W Bush arrived and shook hands with each of the occupants in the front row.

while he slipped something in Michelle Obama's hands.

Former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, a longtime friend of the late Bush, spoke at the ceremony and said when he was president, “every single head of government in the world knew that they were dealing with a gentleman, a genuine leader, one who was distinguished, resolute and brave.”
