The Texas teen who pulled the trigger of a stolen AK-47 and shot herself in the leg is being charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon and burglary of a habitation.
The girl, a 17-year-old, has stolen the weapon in a home burglary hours before the shooting alongside two other teens. A footage shows her lying on the road and people coming to assist her. One of them, a 68-year-old veteran recalls the situation:" She blew off the heel of one foot. She was in excruciating pain and she has every reason to be. She had very severe wounds, very severe."
One of the two other teens reportedly threw the gun down a storm drain after the shooting, he was charged with tampering with evidence and burglary of a habitation, while the other girl's role is still investigated.
