A Florida man was arrested on Monday night after saying he had tried - unsuccessfully - to commit suicide after killing his 80-year-old wife with dementia.
Wayne Juhlin, 94, called the police to report the death of his wife. The investigators reacted on the scene around 7:30 pm and Juhlin told them that he "decided to end his life by shooting at him" before turning against him.
Juhlin "intended to commit suicide after the murder of his wife, but the gun malfunctioned," police said.
Juhlin was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
