Man accused of shooting at Louisville Metro police officer responding to domestic call.

A man is accused of shooting a Louisville subway policeman who responded to a national call this weekend.

According to an arrest report, the police responded Sunday at block 4800 Saint Leo Place on information reporting a domestic incident.

Police said that when the police arrived, they were greeted by two victims who informed the police of several other people inside the house, including an armed man.

An officer said he began giving orders to Joseph Voncannon, 33, when he saw a gun shot.

The arrest slip indicated that it was subsequently discovered that the bullet had been found a few meters from the officer.

Voncannon is accused of attempted murder of an officer and several counts of endangerment.
