A pedophile from Indiana was arrested for attempting to have sex with a 14-year-old girl . He walked 351 km to meet her, authorities said.
Tommy Lee Jenkins, 32, began an instant messaging exchange with a teenager named "Kylee" in Wisconsin, who was actually a sheriff's deputy, according to the US Attorney's Office.
Jenkins asked her sexually explicit photographs while nagging her for meeting him for sex in Whitestown, Indiana, where he lived, officials said.
When she refused, he went on foot to go where she was supposed to, to Neenah, Wisc. - repeatedly sending him explicit messages and informing him of the progress of his desperate march, according to the prosecutors.
Jenkins was charged with using a computer to try to persuade, incite or incite a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity. If found guilty, he faces 10 years to life in prison.
