A Chicago man shot and killed five neighbors in his building on Saturday, killing four while sitting at the dinner table, according to new information.
Police said the 67-year-old unidentified gunman entered a neighbor's apartment on West Irving Park Road in Northwest Side and opened fire, killing all four people , reported WGN-TV.
Deputy Superintendent Anthony Riccio said, "For reasons we do not know yet, he opened fire and killed them."
He then climbed up and shot a woman - who was later classified in critical condition in a local hospital.
Residents of the building told the police that the alleged gunman knew his victims and had already had problems with neighbors. They said the man had "anger issues".
The alleged gunman was arrested on the spot and a firearm was found, the paper said.
