Missing Rochester teen Joanna Coates of LaSalle Street who was abducted by 41-year-old Robert Gonzalez has been found.

an amber alert has been issued when the 14-year-old was abducted by Robert Gonzalez around 10 p.m. Monday.

Linda Hollaert, Joanna's mother, said investigators called her and said her daughter was found in New York City and is being treated in a Manhattan hospital. Gonzalez, Hollaert said, is in New York Police Department custody.

"She's safe and shes headed to the hospital," Hollaert said, according to the newspaper. "I'm relieved. I just want to see my baby girl."

Hollaert claimed that the 41-year-old lived nearby and formed a "disgusting" romantic relationship with her daughter after brainwashing her.

the mother demanded a full prison sentence for the abductor saying "I want him to go to jail and pay for what he’s done to my family. He took her youth. He took everything that was important to her."

Gonzalez was convicted in 1997 of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon in Kings County and was released on parole after nearly four years at Gouverneur Correctional Facility.

details about the state of the missing girl are not revealed yet, and the story of her abduction is still a mystery.
