Deltona news, Florida news.

The search continues for a Deltona teen and her 11-month-old baby girl who have vanished from the family home almost a week ago.

According to officials, Diana Rodriguez, 15, fled the house before school through her bedroom window because she was upset after her parents take her cellphone away.

In a note found after her escape, Rodriguez claimed that she has finally met someone who loves her and her toddler adding that her parents opposed their relationship.

Rodriguez's family believed that she had help from a 19-year-old man she was recently dating.

Her brother told reporters that she is in current contact with friends but not with her parents who are worried about their daughter's safety: "She says she is all right, but she doesn't want to be found."
