Helena news, Montana news.

A Helena couple has been found dead in their home in March 2018.

Now, a Lewis and Clark County jury has convicted Kyle Hamm of deliberate homicide and tampering with the weapons that were used in the slayings of 64-year-old Charla Rae Taylor and 61-year-old David M. Taylor.

Hamm had told investigators that he was not present during the slayings but prosecutors insisted that he was inside the residence where the incident took place and was aware of what has happened.

In the same case, the couple's son Kaleb Taylor and a third suspect have been prosecuted. Taylor was sentenced to life behind bars last March while the other defendant is awaiting trial.

A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered by Judge Mike Menahan.
