Forensic analysis showed that Emantic Bradford Jr., the man who was fatally shot by police on Thanksgiving was hit in back three times.

Bradford was hit in the back of the right side of his head, in the back of his neck and in the right side of his back, according to autopsy results that listed homicide as the manner of death.

Ben Crump, the family's attorney said that Bradford was moving away from police when he was shot.

Hoover police faced criticism for repeatedly changing statements. The day after the shooting they identified the victim as one of two suspects, then revised their statement, saying Bradford had a gun in the chaotic scene , so they mistakenly shot him.

Officials have later arrested Erron Brown, 20 , and charged him with attempted murder for the mall shooting.
